Half School Days are from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., Monday – Friday, for 2.5 – 3 year olds.
Full School Days are from 9:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Monday – Friday, for 3 – 6 year olds.
12:45 – 3:30 pm Monday – Thursday: enrichment for transitional kindergarteners and kindergarteners
During the school year extended care is available from 8:30 am to 5:00 pm. Monday – Friday.
Our Schedule
Our schedule varies depending on the individual children’s needs, the group’s energy level and the season.
School year daily schedule:
- 8:30 work time/lessons
- 9:45 snack
- 10:00 outside/chores/play
- 11:00 class meeting
- 11:15 work alone time
- 11:30 lunch
- 12:00 dismissal for morning children
- 12:15 rest time
- 1:00 enrichment lessons
- 2:00 snack/outside time/pool seasonally.
- 2:30 full day dismissal/enrichment lesson.
- 3:30 enrichment dismissal
- 3:30 movement/outside play
- 4:00 tea party/cooperative games
- 5:00 closing!
Meals and Snack
Children bring their own lunches.Your child’s special day is also her/his share day and special day to be the helper, feed the animals, serve meals, choose the story, etc.
Field Trips
Field trips are fun!. Parents arrange the field trips and coordinate drivers.
Tuition & Enrollment
Tuition is paid in 12 prorated installments from August 15- May 15 or on the first of each month depending on your enrollment date. Join us whenever you can!

Oakhaven Montessori School is closed for legal holidays, 3 parent teacher conference days, one and week in early and late summer, 3 days for Thanksgiving Break and two weeks in winter, and five TBA days emergency closure days each year.
Registration Fee
For the School and Kid’s Camp programs there is a $75 enrollment fee due upon enrollment and payable each March. In addition, there is a $75 registration fee due each September for all students. Both fees are non-refundable. There is a non-refundable $100 deposit for Summer Camp to register them and reserve your child’s spot.
Sibling Discount
10% on second sibling, or lesser amount when enrolled at the same time.
Payment Obligation
Payment obligation is based on reserving a space for your child at Oakhaven Montessori School, not on actual days of attendance. Payment is due whether or not your child actually attends during your scheduled days, including school breaks, vacations and sick days. Oakhaven Montessori School is closed for legal holidays, 3 parent teacher conference days, one and a half weeks in early summer, one week for Thanksgiving Break and two weeks in spring, late summer and winter, emergency closure days and three TBA days each year. Continuing or returning children may attend summer camp. We welcome calm, well behaved summer campers who are new to us.
