TEACHERS

Tulum Dothee, owner and school director, has been involved with Montessori since 1978 and has worked with families since 1971. She holds an Association Montessori Internationale Diploma from London, England in ages 3-6+ years, was trained with the American Montessori Society in toddlers, and holds adult education credentials in child and human development, health education and small business management. Tulum operates Oakhaven, teaches classes in parenting and personal growth, is a certified clinical hypnotherapist in private practice, writes mindful parenting tips articles and newsletters and has a degree in medical assistance. Oakhaven Volunteer Parent Staff:

We are a parent participation school. Who else but a fellow parent is going to be as dedicated to creating the best preschool experience for our children! These gals are a big part of why Oakhaven is so special.

Aria, Hannah and Baylee's mom is here on Mondays doing exciting projects.  Thanks to Aria we are enjoying outdoor cooperative games with a giant parachute. Aria has loads of experience with our age group and it shows. She is a pro!

Stephanie, Olivia and Violet's Mom is here on Tuesdays and alternate Fridays.  Stephanie loves to listen to our seniors read.  She was with us for years with Olivia and now we are thrilled to have her back with Violet. She does cooking projects with us-yum!

Tina, Izaiyah and Hosanna's mom helps out on Wednesdays. Tina is Montessori Certified for birth-3 year olds. This is Tina's fourth year here.  Tina is delights us with art projects.

Jamie, Eva and Lola's mom, has created SOUPER THURSDAYS, we all bring in a veggie and make soup and bake bread for a shared meal-how cool is that!. Jamie has been here for six years and is our lead parent volunteer, she's the one to go to for all your answers!

Leah, Nate, Sam and Dashiell's mom is here regularly- whipping the office into shape and helping with subbing.  Thank goodness for Leah-she provides the office and technical assistance we need! 

Elizabeth, Samantha and Zoey's mom is here on Fridays.  She is in charge of nourishing traditions and is a wiz at preparing fermented food.  Who would guess that we all love saurkraut?  She is a natural working with our kiddoes and jumps right in to lend a helping hand wherever she can.  We all love Elizabeth! 

Rhonda, Naomi and Kyle's Mom, is here occasionally to fill in when we need extra help, thank goodness.  She does fun activities with sign language and teaching us about our environment. She is a wiz with a camera too!  You'll enjoy seeing her photos on some of our slide shows.
